The general meeting is 12:00 every Tuesday at The California Center for the Arts, 340 North Escondido Boulevard (map). Rotary is a volunteer organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary exists to improve communities through a range of humanitarian, intercultural and educational activities.
Richard Rothwell, a retired Colonel in the US Marine Crops, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Naval Academy and a Master of Science in Management from the United States Naval Post Graduate School. He is a distinguished graduate of the United States Naval War College. His service decorations include the Legion of Merit, three Bronze Stars with Combat V, two Purple Hearts, and the Navy Commendation Medal. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1990 with the grade of colonel.

The key mission of the Mary Seau Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) Foundation is to raise funds that will aid in the investigation of the long-term effects from repetitive head impacts sustained during contact sports, military conflicts or other potentially hazardous environments.
Our goal is to work with the research institution to develop imaging techniques to correlate pathological changes and abnormalities so that high-tech imaging tools can be used to screen the presence of early CTE.
